I'm trying to sign up for Teams Classic. I'm following these instructions and selecting "For work or organization", but I never see the "Company name" field. This leads me to believe that is why I am unable to see a "Teams" option on the left or a "Manage Org" option under my profile.

From what I can tell, I'm effectively using a personal account and my choice to setup an org never goes through. Any new email, including with a new domain name, never changes this. If this is the case, it is quite disappointing - this scaled-down version is of little use to me and my small business. Unfortunately, removing this is kind of "logical". Originally, Teams was meant for larger businesses. Then came the Covid and the need for online work for everyone.

I'm happy to help you today. I'm afraid signing up for the Teams free classic version may not be possible anymore. Based on the article, it's not available in some markets and regions. If we need the capability to create teams, we need to get at least the MS Business Basic subscription.
